Anna Guseva (1994) is a visual artist, born in Russia and living in France since 2018. In her practice, she explores themes of collective trauma, difficult history, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She focuses on the uncontrollability of the mechanism by which the collective seeps into the personal and the unpredictability of how the results of their blending manifest back into the outside world. The author often turns to performative practices, examining how the fragile human body experiences the brutality of the external environment pressures.
